Given the average Kindred stay is 5-7 nights, Kindred’s goal is to onboard homes that are clean, safe, thoughtfully furnished, and well-cared-for so that fellow members will feel comfortable living there for longer stays.
We are currently only accepting homes in specific locations in order to balance supply and demand and better manage our operations:
Homes must feature:
✅ Living area has a sofa and other seating for 3 or more individuals
✅ Primary bedroom (or bedroom area in the case of studios) must have a mattress that is full size or larger. Bed must be on a bed frame (no mattresses or box springs on the floor)
✅ Kitchen has a 4 burner stove and a kitchen island, bar countertop, or table
✅ No obvious safety hazards in the home such as unfinished construction, broken furniture, decks or roofs without safety railings, damaged or stained flooring or carpets, dangerous stairs or ladders etc. See Property Requirements for full set of safety features.
✅ Comfortable and functional furniture throughout the home
✅ Furnishing is contemporary, tasteful, and cohesive, with nothing noticeably distressed (unless as part of intentional interior design aesthetic).
✅ Home features interior decoration including plants, rugs, mirrors, and wall art. Walls are not bare.
✅ Home must feature windows and ample natural light

Primary bedroom has twin beds
Bare walls, furniture is not cohesive
Furniture is not cohesive & contemporary, no natural light
